We do
know that some abbots lived in it. They depended on St Martin
in Santiago (nowadays St Martin Pinario) .Afterwards it was
known as "the house of mules ", because it was a place of
rest for the pilgrims and merchants who were coming following
the Silver Route, that is at 100 metres form the estate. Approximately
twenty years ago, we began the rehabilitation of the house.
In 1998 we made a second reform to adapt it to hotel regulations.
